14 years ago 6/6/09 our son Glen was killed by a hit n run driver whilst on holiday with his friend , he was just 24 years old engaged to be married.. To say we all miss him is an understatement our hearts have been broken into small pieces, I miss him more than life itself..I love him so very much..Glens rugby friends remember him often talk about him with rugby lads and their tantics when on tour..The stories always make us laugh he was a big gentle giant with a loving heart. Glen was my boy my handsome son. This so called new life as its known I hate it with a passion, I wish we could have our old life back , Glen coming home from work, showered, asking me whats for dinner. I so much want to talk to him to feel his big hugs with those muscely arms it is not the same anymore , our family isnt the same. I know our chain as a family will be linked again one day. It is 12 years 6/6/09 since you was taken from us Glenboy, not a day goes by where you are not thought of, missed millions by us all..you have two Nieces Olivia, Amelia, Nephew Jack Glen Daly. I know you would be in your element to be with them all now, how proud are you of your brother (Blane ) Glen, he misses you so much, Sister Leanne she misses your chats, you popping round before you went to work ! I miss you my handsome boy, ringing me asking what’s for tea, missing you singing when you use to get ready to go out, the smell of your aftershave..these little things mean a lot. Cannot believe it has been 10 years since we last see you. This new life has it is called has left us frozen in time. Everyone of your friends have now married and becoming dad's theirselves. We are never going to be able to see you become a dad, see you get on with your life that's what hurts. Jenny popped over to see you with Rhianna and Alysia, they took over dome flowers for you. Blane, Leanne and I sat over with you today, the weather was lovely, we laughed, like we all use to talking about different things. Tony went to see you he said, he popped round to see us too.. Dad has just got back from visiting you, we will be back over the weekend to see you, somethings we need to tidy up as the council are not doing their job. Not seeing you has been the hardest, miss the fun times the three of us use to have, Blane was winding leanne up as usual. Miss you so much Glenboy, how do we ever get use to this new life, it is so hard even after all the years that have gone past already.
